as executive co-producer, i oversaw the full production cycle — from concept development and budgeting to PR, SMM strategy, and merchandise design. i also managed brand partnerships, including securing Jägermeister as a sponsor for the second performance and leading the integration process.
üi küiı is a contemporary music performance that brings together young musicians, poets, and sound artists to explore themes of modern identity, memory, and belonging through experimental sound and visual storytelling. the project reimagines traditional kazakh musical forms through electronic production, spoken word, and live performance.
within the project, Galya Bisengalieva — a London-based violinist and composer known for her work with Warp Records and her experimental approach to classical music. her participation added an international perspective and a deep emotional texture to the performance, bridging Kazakh roots with global avant-garde sound.

ŞUAQ — rave series & sonic exploration

i co-developed the concept, curated stage and spatial design, and led production. the project also collaborates with media artists, introducing visual installations, video art, and mapping on natural rock formations, turning each event into a dialogue between music, light, and landscape.
SUAQ is a series of raves exploring the electronic sound of central asia and its connection to place, culture, and emotion. each edition takes over a new architectural or natural space
— from a soviet canteen UFO, to the marble hall at the house of officers, to an open-air rave in charyn canyon national park — the first of its kind in kazakhstan.
project supports regional electronic producers and shapes a new language for the underground scene in Central Asia.

Vilhelm Parfumerie — Immersive Performance at The Ritz-Carlton Gallery

the production included full creative coordination, event logistics, and personalized guest invitations, ensuring the experience unfolded as both theatre and scent ritual.
an immersive performance for Vilhelm Parfumerie, hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Gallery in astana. the event combined scent storytelling and movement theatre: an independent astana-based troupe created a series of wordless performances, interpreting the stories behind the brand’s most iconic fragrances through body and dance.
as the perfumer narrated the origins of each scent, the actors embodied its emotion — moving through the gallery together with the guests, transforming the space into a living, breathing fragrance journey.

Yandex Cup — “Code of the Steppe” Performance

creative production of a music and theatre performance for the international programming championship Yandex Cup 2023, held in almaty. the event brought together over 100 finalists from around the world and explored the connection between technology and art through an immersive cultural experience.
the performance, titled “Code of the Steppe”, was developed in collaboration with the independent music collective qazaq indie
and a group of local artists. the concept reimagined the idea
of “code” as a cultural language that links past, present, and future.
musicians, poets, and performers interpreted the stories of Kazakhstan through movement, traditional instruments (kobyz, zhetygen), and electronic sound. the result was a dynamic performance where art, code, and culture intertwined, reflecting the spirit of creation that defines both programmers and artists.

ZVUK × Draaimolen — Immersive Sound Installation “ÜN”

an immersive sound installation created for the collaboration between ZVUK and the dutch festival Draaimolen, developed under the curatorship of re.yurt.
the concept was developed and co-produced remotely, merging traditional acoustic principles with contemporary sound art. ÜN invited participants to listen, share, and contribute to a growing sound archive of presence and connection.
the project, titled “ÜN” (meaning “sound” or “voice” in Kazakh), explored listening as a collective act and sound as a bridge between people and place. set inside a traditional kazakh yurt, the installation captured conversations, laughter, poetry, and ambient sounds — weaving them into a living audio composition.

scouted a strategic location in astana, oversaw the store renovation and interior detailing, and developed the full program for the grand opening. curated and coordinated subcontractors (construction, interior, lighting, signage), ensured all design elements aligned with brand identity.


the opening program included performances, activations, and guest flow planning to create a memorable launch moment. the goal was to not just open a store, but to set a cultural touchpoint — making ONLY in astana a hub for fashion, community, and experience.

the idea drew on the tradition of sharing something sweet during nauryz as a gesture of kindness and good energy for the year ahead. in collaboration with a local artist, the concept was reinterpreted in a playful, modern way — through national-style lollipop holders and branded chupa chups that became cheerful symbols of celebration.

distributed through influencers and social media, the project connected cultural symbolism with light humor and local design aesthetics.

the project involved curating the concept and leading the creative process, resulting in a long-sleeve collection for a creative collective. the collaboration merged experimental fashion aesthetics with local cultural codes, transforming everyday pieces into a statement of shared artistic identity.

merch design for the Alternativa by inDrive Film School, an educational program for emerging documentary filmmakers. the collection was created in collaboration with almaty-based designer Ayan, known for his work with embroidery and detail-oriented craft.

the concept features a print depicting a filmmaker observing a growing flower through the camera lens — a metaphor for young directors taking their first steps in documentary storytelling, nurturing ideas with patience and curiosity.

as part of the Üi küiı festival program, a series of short animated videos was produced — each reinterpreting kazakh traditions through a unique visual and emotional lens. every piece was created by a different animator, giving the collection its distinct rhythm and diversity.

Alternativa by inDrive — film award public talks

as creative producer, responsibility included shaping the project concept, curating the content and hosts, assembling and managing the remote creative team, and overseeing all stages of production and coordination online. the result was a series of thoughtful, well-structured talks that created space for honest dialogue on urgent regional issues.
public talks for the Alternativa by inDrive film award, an international initiative by inDrive supporting independent filmmakers from the global south and highlighting stories that challenge social and cultural norms.
the series took place offline in almaty and featured bilingual discussions (russian / kazakh) with directors, activists, historians, and journalists. conversations explored themes such as gender-based violence, social justice, and the transformation of traditional norms in central asia.
